#Juneathon Day 23 & 24: Brought to you by the letter D

Yesterday’s Juneathon activity was limited to excitedly writing about the fabulous time I had at the City of London Mile.  It’s a bit lame but all I wanted to do is go over it in my mind and share it!

Today is Tuesday which means it’s the night I lead a beginners running group.  We had a decent turnout despite the football but without wanting to be sexist, I think that’s largely due to most of the group being female.

Even though it was a bit muggy the group still managed to cover 5k – some covering more due to loop backs.

Getting to the lake involved an unexpected detour after finding the subway shut.  Strangely people seemed to enjoy the surprise route change.  Just goes to show you should never judge what runners will take delight in!
