Here’s the next installment about my recent participation in the international sketchbook project organised by Arthouse.
The theme I chose was “Along The Line” which I’ve interpretted both literally in terms of the style of my drawings but also to use the pages to portray different things associated with the timeline of my life so far – a mini-autobiography, if you will.
Now I was a good boy at school and can only remember one or two detentions so the inspiration for this page is not literal.
What I wanted to show is my insesant desire to become an architect from the age of 11 all the way through secondary school until I reached Newcastle University to start the 7 years or architecture studies.
It was only when faced with reality of how architecture was being taught that I realised; Architecture wasn’t for me.
